Marilyn Manson Confirmed as the Third Headliner of HILLS OF ROCK 2026

Joining the lineup are also Sex Pistols Featuring Frank Carter, Northlane and Last Train

Provocateur, icon, cultural phenomenon, creative chameleon – Marilyn Manson is the third headliner of HILLS OF ROCK 2026. Since his debut, he has blurred the boundaries of alternative culture and reshaped the perception of the global rock stage. His persona constantly teeters between high art, grotesque imagery, and unbridled chaos – earning him the nickname The God of F*ck from his fans. Marilyn Manson will bring this primal energy to the stage on the first day of the festival – July 24.

Emerging in the early 1990s as a strange, frightening yet magnetic figure somewhere between Marilyn Monroe and Charles Manson, this dark theatrical icon with mystical symbolism and boundless energy quickly became one of the most polarizing artists of the decade. With his haunting, darkly pulsing version of “Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)” becoming an international hit, it was clear that he was also a cultural catalyst. Marilyn Manson is also an established visual artist with international exhibitions, known for his dark, expressive watercolors and surreal imagery that complement his unique stage aesthetics. Last year, he released his twelfth album, One Assassination Under God – Chapter 1, marking a return that continues to challenge, develop, and rewrite his own legend.

Sex Pistols Featuring Frank Carter join the festival lineup on the first day, bringing authentic punk chaos to Plovdiv, where ancient stones meet roaring amplifiers. Having reignited their spark worldwide, the renewed Pistols are not a nostalgic project but a living force, delivering sharp, direct, and fully contemporary energy.

French band Last Train embodies the independent rock ethos – free-spirited, determined, and uncompromising for nearly 15 years. With two albums, orchestral projects, documentaries, and over 600 shows across Europe, they have become a phenomenon with a unique path, aesthetic, and loyal fanbase. Live, Last Train is in their element, and after playing major European festivals such as Hellfest and Sziget, they will perform for the first time in Bulgaria at HILLS OF ROCK.

Plovdiv will also host one of the most notable Australian modern metal bands of the last decade, Northlane. Arriving at HILLS OF ROCK 2026 with a reputation for innovation, multiple awards, and a global audience, Northlane is a leader in the new generation of heavy music. Their sound combines deep emotion, industrial elements, and modern heavy riffs, with performances known for precision and dramatic intensity.

HILLS OF ROCK 2026 will take place on July 24–26 at the Rowing Canal in Plovdiv. Single-day tickets are now on sale starting at 140 BGN via Ticketstation.
