One of Turkey’s biggest and most beloved pop artists will perform in Sofia on November 12 at Hall 3 of the National Palace of Culture
One of the biggest stars of the Turkish pop scene – EDIS – has included Bulgaria in his tour this year, which will take him through the UK and Europe. He is coming to Bulgaria at the invitation of Fest Team for a major concert on November 12 at Hall 3 of the National Palace of Culture. Tickets starting at €30 go on sale through the Ticket Station network on May 15, while Fest Club members will have access from May 14.
Born in London and raised in Izmir, Edis Görgülü is now a well-known name, with over one billion views on YouTube, numerous chart-topping hits and prestigious awards, including the “Best Male Artist” award at the Golden Butterfly Awards. Over the past 10 years, EDIS has become one of the most beloved figures in the Turkish and SWANA pop scene – a region of more than 500 million people, where his name needs no introduction. Now, he is preparing to make his international breakthrough.
The artist is the winner of GQ Turkey’s “Breakthrough of the Year” award, has appeared on the cover of Vogue Turkey and is a multiple winner at Turkey’s biggest music awards. His concerts fill venues across Turkey and have long attracted audiences from different generations and nationalities. Thanks to his warm and authentic connection with his audience, EDIS has one of the most loyal fan bases. In addition to being highly produced, his shows have become a meeting point for a close-knit community.
His 2021 single “Martılar” became one of the most-streamed Turkish songs on Spotify that year. His debut album “Ân” also produced a number 1 hit. His second studio album, “Bachi-Bouzouk”, released in August 2025, continues this trajectory. The album and the tours surrounding it reinforce what his fans in Turkey already know – that EDIS is a true professional and that the only thing missing is his international breakthrough. Tickets for EDIS’ show in Sofia go on sale through the Ticket Station network on May 15, while Fest Club members will have access from May 14.
