Empire of the Sun Return to Europe This Summer with the “Ask That God 2026” Tour
The Sofia concert will take place on June 13 at Vidas Art Arena
Australian electronic legends Empire of the Sun return to Europe and the United Kingdom this spring with more than 20 dates as part of their “Ask That God” tour in May and June 2026. Following their long-awaited European tour in 2025 (their first in the region in six years), the duo will revisit favorite countries while including Bulgaria, Ireland, Norway, Sweden, Austria, Denmark, and other new destinations for the first time. Their Sofia concert is presented by Fest Team and will take place on June 13 at Vidas Art Arena in Borisova Gradina.
Empire of the Sun, featuring Luke Steele and Nick Littlemore, are behind four critically acclaimed albums, billions of streams, and numerous successful remixes – including their latest Alive (Reimagined) EP. Their 2024 album “Ask That God” marks a new era in their creative journey – their first studio project in eight years – blending existential themes with their signature fantastical and nostalgic electro-pop sound. Hits such as “Changes,” “Cherry Blossom,” and “Music On The Radio” have already surpassed 500 million global streams.
Empire of the Sun’s captivating live shows move along the edge between fantasy and reality, transporting audiences into a kaleidoscopic world of striking visuals, theatrical presence, and epic-scale production. The Ask That God Tour 2025 became a landmark global event, selling out headline shows across North America and Europe and showcasing the band’s most ambitious live production to date. In North America, the tour drew tens of thousands of fans in major cities such as Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Toronto, Denver, and Berkeley, highlighted by a completely sold-out performance at Red Rocks Amphitheatre and festival appearances at Austin City Limits, CRSSD, and Just Like Heaven. In Europe, Empire of the Sun continued their ascent with sold-out dates in London, Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam, Milan, Barcelona, and Lisbon, including an instantly sold-out show at the Old Royal Naval College in London and appearances on major summer festival stages. The tour also reached South America, where the band performed at iconic festivals such as Lollapalooza Brasil (São Paulo) and Estéreo Picnic (Bogotá), reaffirming their long-standing global popularity and status as one of the most visually and sonically impressive live acts in the world.
At their Sofia concert on June 13, fans will hear timeless classics such as “Walking On A Dream,” “We Are The People,” “Alive,” and “High and Low,” alongside new tracks from the album “Ask That God” – in an unforgettable multidimensional experience.
Tickets go on presale on January 29, Thursday, at 9:00 AM. Registration for presale access is required at laylo.com/eots/m/askthatgod-eu.
