Music superstar, fashion icon and one of the most recognizable faces in global pop culture is coming to Sofia on October 9
This autumn, Bulgarian audiences will have the chance to experience a concert that hip-hop fans around the world have been eagerly awaiting. On October 9, 2026, at the invitation of Fest Team, A$AP Rocky will perform in Sofia for the first time, taking the stage at Arena “8888” as part of his worldwide “Don’t Be Dumb” tour, which spans more than 40 countries across the US and Europe. Born Rakim Mayers, the American rapper, producer, actor and fashion icon is one of the most-streamed artists on the planet, with more than 25 billion streams. His arrival in Bulgaria comes at a peak moment in his career, following the release of his long-awaited fourth album, “Don’t Be Dumb”, whose Spotify pre-saves surpassed 1 million and broke the platform’s previous hip-hop record.
Tickets for his Sofia concert will go on presale for Fest Club members on June 4, while general sale will begin on June 5 through Ticket Station, with prices starting from €66.
The tour takes its name from A$AP Rocky’s latest album, “Don’t Be Dumb”, which was released earlier this year. Billboard described it as an album that “not only rewards patience but also brings new nuances to the rapper’s style, a more mature approach to melody and a wiser approach to his lyrics.” Unprecedented interest preceded the release of the American star’s fourth album. More than 130,000 vinyl records were sold before its official debut, while Spotify pre-saves surpassed one million. Guest artists on the album include BossMan Dlow, Brent Faiyaz, Danny Elfman, Doechii, Gorillaz, Jessica Pratt, Jon Batiste, Slay Squad, Thundercat, Tyler, The Creator, Westside Gunn and will.i.am. The cover was created by legendary Hollywood director and illustrator Tim Burton.
The enormous interest in the album is a natural continuation of an exceptionally successful year for A$AP Rocky. The album arrived at the end of 2025, a year in which he seemed to be everywhere at once. The artist appeared in two feature films produced by A24 – “Highest 2 Lowest”, directed by Spike Lee, and the Golden Globe-winning “If I Had Legs I’d Kick You”, directed by Mary Bronstein. He also served as co-chair of last year’s Met Gala, was appointed creative director of Ray-Ban and, at the end of last year, became the new ambassador for fashion house Chanel. In addition to all this, he is also the father of three children with music superstar Rihanna.
A$AP Rocky emerged onto the scene in 2011 and has remained at the forefront ever since, with his music accumulating more than 25 billion streams to date. His music videos have also amassed a total of 5 billion views on YouTube. On October 9, Bulgarian audiences will see American superstar A$AP Rocky live in Sofia for the first time. His concert will feature songs from his latest album, “Don’t Be Dumb”, as well as hits spanning his entire career.
