Three American bands with decades of experience on the heavy music scene will take the stage at Hall 3 of the National Palace of Culture on November 11
On November 11, Hall 3 of the National Palace of Culture will welcome three well-known names to fans of heavy music. At the invitation of Fest Team, Connecticut hardcore legends Hatebreed will come to Sofia, joined by New York’s Life of Agony and Baltimore’s End It – one of the most exciting new bands in the contemporary hardcore scene. Tickets for the event will go on sale on June 10 for Fest Club members, followed by general sale on June 11 through Ticket Station, priced at €55.
Hatebreed are among the most recognizable bands in the American hardcore scene. Formed in 1994 in Bridgeport, Connecticut, by frontman Jamey Jasta, the band has developed a distinctive style where hardcore and metal collide in an explosive combination of crushing riffs, aggressive energy and lyrics focused on resilience, self-discipline and overcoming adversity. Their ability to turn themes such as loss, anxiety, anger and personal struggles into a cathartic experience for their audience is one of the reasons Hatebreed have remained so influential for more than three decades.
Among their most highly regarded recent releases is the album Weight of the False Self (2020), in which the band explores themes of emotional burden, mental resilience and overcoming personal crises without compromising their signature uncompromising heaviness. In 2025, they released their first new music in five years with the single Make the Demons Obey, while currently working on their next studio album. This new chapter for the band comes alongside major tours and appearances at leading rock and metal festivals around the world, further cementing their reputation as an unstoppable live act.
Special guests for the evening will be Life of Agony – a band that has carved out its own place at the intersection of alternative metal, hardcore and rock since the early 1990s. The band’s history is closely linked to vocalist Keith Caputo, who publicly announced their transgender identity in 2011 and subsequently adopted the name Mina Caputo. The musician currently uses the name Keith Caputo again, while their openness about personal experiences remains an important part of Life of Agony’s connection with their audience.
Combining the raw energy of hardcore with the melody and emotional depth of alternative rock, Life of Agony continue to be a band capable of connecting different generations of listeners while remaining relevant decades after their debut.
Also joining the lineup are End It – one of the most talked-about new bands in the contemporary hardcore scene. Formed in Baltimore in 2017 and part of the Flatspot Records roster, they quickly attracted attention with their explosive live shows, the distinctive stage presence of vocalist Akil Godsey and their uncompromising blend of classic American hardcore, punk and crossover thrash. Their breakthrough came with the highly acclaimed EP Unpleasant Living (2022), which appeared on numerous year-end lists by specialist media, followed by the release of their debut full-length album Wrong Side of Heaven in 2025. With a reputation as one of the most energetic live bands of the new generation, End It are set to deliver a powerful start to the evening in Sofia.
On November 11, Sofia audiences will have the opportunity to see three American bands from different generations of heavy music sharing the same stage. From the uncompromising power of Hatebreed and the emotional depth of Life of Agony to the explosive energy of End It, the evening will bring together artists who have left their mark on the hardcore and alternative scenes and continue to shape their present.
