he hardcore sensation from Louisville arrives on May 11 at the small stage of Vidas Art Arena with their new album “You Won’t Go Before You’re Supposed To”
The American hardcore sensation Knocked Loose is coming to Sofia on May 11 for a concert at Vidas Art Arena, invited by Fest Team. After years of relentless touring, explosive live shows, and performances on some of the world’s biggest stages – including as support for Metallica – the Louisville-based band is finally arriving in Bulgaria. On the small stage of Vidas Art Arena, they will present their new album You Won’t Go Before You’re Supposed To – one of the most talked-about hardcore releases of the past year.
A special pre-sale for Fest Club members begins on March 12 at 12:00 PM, while general ticket sales start on March 13 via the Ticket Station network. Prices start at €49, and ticket quantities are limited.
Formed in Louisville, Kentucky, Knocked Loose have become one of the most important contemporary hardcore bands. Following their breakthrough album A Different Shade of Blue (2019), praised by both critics and fans, the band gradually moved beyond the underground and onto stages in front of tens of thousands of fans. In recent years, they have supported Metallica and appeared at festivals like Coachella and Bonnaroo, where their raw energy has overwhelmed audiences and made them one of the most talked-about acts in the lineup.
Their new album You Won’t Go Before You’re Supposed To comes after a four-year intensive creative process. During this period, the band wrote nearly 40 songs before selecting the ten that make up the final record. The result is 27 minutes of concentrated fury, intensity, and boldness – an album that both reinforces their signature sound and expands their musical horizons.
The themes continue the emotional honesty that has always been central to Knocked Loose’s music – from social anger and personal conflict in their debut Laugh Tracks (2016) to the exploration of loss in the EP A Tear in the Fabric of Life (2021). The new songs dive even deeper into feelings of anxiety, betrayal, and inner struggle, while also broadening the band’s sonic scope and dynamics.
Today, Knocked Loose prove that hardcore can thrive both in small clubs and on the biggest festival stages without losing its authenticity and intensity. With their new album, the band showcases their most extreme contrasts yet: the fastest, the heaviest, but also the most melodic sound of their career.
On May 11, Bulgarian fans will have the chance to experience this energy live at Vidas Art Arena. Tickets go on sale on March 13 via Ticket Station, with a special pre-sale for Fest Club members starting March 12 at 12:00 PM. Prices start at €49.
