Following the release of his long-awaited fourth studio album Love You Madly, Hate You Badly, genre-defying artist, producer, and cultural provocateur Oliver Tree has announced a major world tour that includes Sofia. The concert in Bulgaria will take place on September 22 at Pirotska 5 Event Center, presented by Fest Team, and will be part of the most ambitious concert series of his career to date. The tour kicks off on May 30 in Mexico City and will travel through key cities including New York, Los Angeles, London, Paris, Berlin, Sydney, and Shanghai, as well as festivals such as Pohoda Festival and G! Festival. Spanning all seven continents, this is Oliver Tree’s biggest global tour to date. Tickets for the Bulgarian show go on sale on May 8 through Ticket Station.
The new album Love You Madly, Hate You Badly is a 17-track project written and produced entirely by Tree. It moves across a broad spectrum of genres and emotions, combining elements of alternative pop, electronic music, and hip-hop. Among the already familiar tracks are “Superhero”, “Joyride”, “Flowers”, “Deep End”, and “All You Ever Wanted”, each revealing a different side of Tree’s stylistic range. The album was created during a two-year journey around the world, during which Oliver Tree recorded music across seven continents and in more than 80 countries. This global experience is reflected in the sound of the project – through diverse instruments, cultural influences, and sonic textures that shape an album that is both experimental and personal.
Originally from Santa Cruz, California, Oliver Tree has built his world beyond the standard boundaries of the music industry. A vocalist, producer, director, and performance artist, he combines pop, alternative sounds, and visual expression in a project that constantly transforms. Over the past decade, Tree has gone through different artistic phases, each adding a new layer to his identity – unpredictable, often ironic, but always unmistakably recognizable.
With his signature approach combining satire, performance, and music, Oliver Tree continues to push the boundaries of contemporary pop culture. His concerts are a natural extension of this multimedia world – dynamic, visually rich, and unpredictable. Audiences in Sofia will have the opportunity to hear live both the new material from Love You Madly, Hate You Badly and the artist’s most popular songs – in a concert that reflects his complete vision of music and stage art.
