The Three-Day PHILLGOOD in Plovdiv Will Feature Three Stages
Among the new names are The Subways, Son Lux, Los Bitchos and the legendary Bulgarian band KLASS, plus a brand-new stage featuring leading figures from the world of electronic music
PHILLGOOD – the youngest festival in Fest Team’s portfolio – is taking its next big step, not only revealing new names for its already announced stages but also adding a third, entirely new one that further expands its musical universe. Between July 17 and 19 at the Rowing Canal in Plovdiv, the program will unfold across three clearly defined focal points – the main PHILLGOOD stage, PHILLCOOL, and the new electronic stage PHILLRAVE. With this move, PHILLGOOD reinforces its ambition to become a festival of different worlds, tastes, and audiences coexisting within one shared experience. With its latest wave of artists, it brings together global visionaries and beloved Bulgarian talents. Diversity is no longer only reflected in the lineup – over 25% of tickets have been purchased by audiences outside Bulgaria, mainly from across Europe, but also from countries such as Iceland, China, Mexico, Brazil, and Kazakhstan, firmly placing Plovdiv on the map of international festival routes this summer.
PHILLGOOD Stage
Alongside the already announced The Cure, Gorillaz, Moby, Wolf Alice, Kneecap, Just Mustard, Sleaford Mods, Perturbator, Suede, Einstürzende Neubauten, Thievery Corporation, Apashe & Brass Orchestra, Kadebostany, Hayes & Y and ALI, the festival adds new artists who bring fresh ideas, musical experimentation, and distinctive sound. Three more strong names join the main PHILLGOOD stage. On July 17, British band The Subways will deliver their infectious indie rock, bright guitar riffs, melodic hooks, and a blend of energy and nostalgia that has made them fan favorites worldwide since the early 2000s. On the final day of the festival, the project Son Lux joins the lineup – the experimental American trio creating music on the edge of post-rock, electronica, and chamber drama, with intense arrangements that send audiences into unexplored musical territories. The final addition to the main stage on July 18 is the multicultural London quartet Los Bitchos, whose vibrant instrumental surf-exotica has, in just a few years, made them one of the most recognizable live acts on the contemporary indie scene. From Glastonbury and Coachella to our own PHILLGOOD, Los Bitchos turn every concert into a colorful, dance-driven, and fully immersive experience.
PHILLCOOL Stage
PHILLCOOL shapes its identity around modern, cult, and genre-free artists with a strong authorial presence. On July 17, immediately after The Cure’s set, the legendary Bulgarian band KLASS will take the stage, celebrating 40 years on the Bulgarian music scene, with fans eagerly anticipating their active presence in today’s live concert life. Bulgarian Cartrader, a project with an international sound and a refined blend of indie and electronic influences, is also part of that day’s program. On July 18, PHILLCOOL will welcome Zhlach & Gena and Jin Monic – names representing the living pulse of Bulgaria’s independent scene. On July 19, the festival’s final day, one of the most dynamic festival zones, PHILLCOOL, will host Bulgarian acts Lunikk and Hug or Handshake.
PHILLRAVE Stage
PHILLRAVE is the newest, third stage of PHILLGOOD and the natural home of character-driven electronic music – an essential part of the festival experience. PHILLRAVE brings together internationally recognized artists from today’s most exciting and active movements within the club scene. On July 17, Acid Arab, Daniel Avery, Erol Alkan, and Ison will set the opening rhythm with deep, techno, and contemporary electronic influences. On July 18, the stage shifts toward the new wave with Sofia Kourtesis, HAAi, KiNK, and Raredub – artists known for their dynamic, precise sets and strong connection with audiences. The finale on July 19 belongs to Kelly Lee Owens, Ursiny, Swimming Paul, Pretty Girl, and Liubo Ursiny, who will close PHILLRAVE with hypnotic, dance-driven electronic energy.
