After a period of silence and creative transformation, Xandria are returning with new energy and adding Sofia to their 2026 tour. The band’s concert will take place on October 8 at Pirotska 5 Event Center, where the Bulgarian audience will have the opportunity to hear the band’s renewed lineup and their current symphonic metal world live. Tickets will go on pre-sale for Fest Club tomorrow at 11:00 AM, with prices starting at 40 EUR. General sales will begin on Monday, May 11, through the Ticket Station network.
Xandria are one of the established names in symphonic metal, with a career spanning more than two decades. The band combines heavy guitar riffs with orchestral arrangements and melodic vocals, creating a sound that balances classical influences with modern metal aesthetics. Over the years, they have developed a recognizable style and left their mark with songs such as “Ravenheart”, “Valentine” and “Nightfall”.
The band’s latest chapter began in 2023 with vocalist Ambre Vourvahis, whose wide range – from operatic lines to aggressive vocals – significantly expands the group’s sonic possibilities. This transformation is reflected in the album The Wonders Still Awaiting, which received strong international response upon its release and reached top positions in charts such as the German Top 10 and the UK Rock & Metal chart.
In 2024, the band continued this direction with the EP Universal Tales, which adds new layers to their sound and explores different themes and musical directions – from symphonic anthems and orchestral compositions to Celtic influences and acoustic interpretations – demonstrating their ability to evolve and transform their style without losing their essence.
Xandria’s live performances are designed as a complete audio-visual experience – with rich orchestration, powerful dynamics and a distinct atmosphere that gradually unfolds before the audience.
