Fest Team presents:

Irina Florin in a special concert dedicated to one of the landmark projects in the history of Bulgarian pop music

The singer celebrates 25 years since the release of her cult album “V treto litse” (“In the Third Person”)

Her voice lives in the minds of generations of Bulgarians, and her music forever transformed the identity of the Bulgarian pop scene at the start of the 21st century. Irina Florin will celebrate 25 years since the release of her cult album “V treto litse” on November 21 at FOMO club in Sofia with a very special concert. It’s a concert that will take both her and the audience back to a time when many prominent Bulgarian musicians came together in a shared project that left a lasting mark on the history of Bulgarian pop music. The concert will also be the official presentation of “V treto litse” on vinyl, a specially remastered collector’s edition.

The album features hits such as “Dokoga”, “Moga”, “V treto litse” and “Vyaturat spi”, songs whose lyrics and melodies are well known to Bulgarian audiences. Behind the lyrics and compositions of this cult record stand some of Bulgaria’s most prominent musicians and lyricists. Their more experimental and innovative approach to the production changed the course of Bulgarian pop music and made “V treto litse” one of the boldest projects on the Bulgarian scene.

Much of the album’s identity was shaped by composer and musician Momchil Kolev (of the duo Doni & Momchil and the band Klas). “Dokoga” features lyrics by Vanya Shtereva, and the song quickly became one of the most iconic tracks in Irina Florin’s repertoire. The lyrics for “Moga”, “Vyaturat ne spi” and “V treto litse” were written by Ina Grigorova. Musicians Georgi Georgiev and Svilen Noev of Ostava, Nufri and Grafa also took part in the work on this key pop album.

In 2002, the album won Album of the Year from MM TV, BG Radio and BNT Forte, and Irina Florin was among the big winners in the music charts of the time.

This autumn, 25 years later, “V treto litse” will once again bring together prominent Bulgarian musicians for a special concert in the intimate atmosphere of FOMO club. Special guests at the event will be Momchil Kolev, Vanya Shtereva, Stenli, and Georgi Georgiev and Svilen Noev of Ostava. Joining Irina Florin on stage will be Yoana Marinova (vocals), Hristo Kostov (guitars), Martin Stoyanov – Martist (keys and programming) and Vladislav Zidarov (drums).

On November 21, Irina Florin will take us back to one of the most iconic moments, both in her career and in Bulgarian pop music. Tickets are available on the Ticket Station website.
