The astonishing show LORD OF THE RINGS IN CONCERT: RETURN OF THE KING has a new location and two new dates for everyone who wants to experience the magic of the most spectacular part of the trilogy. The Ancient Theatre in Plovdiv is the perfect location of the long-awaited grand finale for the adventures in Middle-earth – “The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King”. The dates of the magnificent production are two – August 1st and 2nd, so that everyone can enjoy the priceless experience – outdoors and safely, through a giant HD screen and live music performed by 250 musicians!
On the 1st and 2nd of August in the magical atmosphere of the Ancient Theatre in Plovdiv the audience will experience the supreme culmination of the trilogy and undoubtedly – a favourite of the fans, an epic ending with the Battle of the Pelennor Fields, the biggest battle in the War for the Ring and the most spectacular battle for the whole of the Third Age. The movie, combined with live music, excites millions of viewers in Bulgaria and around the world, and according to Peter Jackson himself: “This is the closest possible contact for the audience with the movie – the most spectacular and intimate experience for the fans.” The location of the performance is unique for the international promoters of LORD OF THE RINGS IN CONCERT as well, since such location – with the cultural and historical significance of the Plovdiv Ancient Theatre, is the first in the world!

J. R. R. Tolkien’ s books and their blockbuster movie adaptations by Peter Jackson have turned millions of people around the world into faithful fans of The Lord of the Rings. Composer Howard Shore and every note of his three-hour musical interpretation in the stunning performance will transport the audience directly to Middle-earth this summer in Plovdiv.
All tickets purchased so far for the planned in Arena Armeec in November 2019 performance LORD OF THE RINGS IN CONCERT: RETURN OF THE KING will be valid for one of the new dates in 2021. All the audience has to do is take a photo of their ticket and send it to info@eventim.bg with their preferred date and the team of Eventim.bg will send them back the new pass with a new allocated place for the Ancient Theatre distributed according to their category.
