Nick Cave solo and up close at the Ancient Theater on August 19

For his first concert, the famous musician comes to our country with Colin Greenwood on bass.

The year is 2025, and for the first time, Bulgaria has the honor of welcoming one of the most significant artists of our time – after more than four decades of an impressive musical career, Nick Cave will transform the Ancient Theater in Plovdiv into the scene of his first intimate meeting with a Bulgarian audience on August 19, 2025. The musician, artist, composer, poet and writer from Australia comes to Plovdiv to declare: “We’ve all had too much sorrow, now is the time for joy.” *

Without a doubt, this will be one of those concerts that offers the audience a cathartic experience that reveals the shadowiest corners of the soul with Nick Cave’s uncompromising stage presence, piano and his songs in their raw and minimalist form. The tour’s setlist includes music from Cave’s rich and timeless catalog – from the Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds discography to his solo projects. He will be accompanied on stage by Colin Greenwood himself. Known not only for his bass lines in Radiohead – a band that has sold over 30 million albums and is inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame – but also for his work outside of music. He is also a writer and photographer, and last year published the book How To Disappear – A Portrait of Radiohead, which offers a behind-the-scenes look at the life of one of the most influential bands in the world.

Cave himself says: “I can’t wait to present this special show, accompanied by the great Colin Greenwood. It’s a privilege to share my songs in this way – raw and raw, revealing their essential nature.”

Nick Cave’s historic first concert appearance in Bulgaria is taking place at the invitation of Fest Team and is part of a limited European tour that has been going on since last year and has already received extremely successful reviews from the audience and the media:

“Nothing short of a spiritual experience.” – LA Magazine
“Captivating and magnetic.” – Forbes
“Nick Cave + Colin Greenwood = magic.” – Scenestar

Tickets are extremely limited and can only be found on the Ticket Station network at prices from 160 to 260 BGN, and the sale starts on January 31 at 10:00.
